My mom just told me she'll let me take a drivers' ed class to change my future class DJ permit to a class D senior! Now to actually get my permit first. Have an SRT Viper butt!

If you're turning 18 before the course would be over it's not worth it.

No but I know that you should probably find out ASAP if you want to take em. I think they do them in like seasons, so there might be a spring course coming. Just make sure the class gets you a signed MV285.
I know kids that have taken it at Dalton and Friends Seminary(manhattan), not sure about Brooklyn. Usually runs about $600.

For insurance purposes, it's usually worth it. Depending on the insurance provider, you can save a good chunk of change.
